The marigold flower grows one to two feet tall, is orange and yellow in color, and smells bad to repel insects. It thrives in rich, well-drained soil in a tropical climate with full sun and water. Marigolds can treat conjunctivitis, eczema, gastritis, minor burns and warts, and protect cells from chemical damage. They also help treat some skin diseases when grown properly with many blooms and branches.
